Bill Anderson gets box treatment
Monday, December 6, 2010 – Whisperin' Bill Anderson will get the box treatment from the German label Bear Records with the release due late next year.
The 5-CD compilation will comprise Anderson's recording career from 1958 through 1966. The set will also offer several "demo" recordings of songs that he wrote, which became hits for other artists. "This really is a dream come true for me," Anderson said, "and it never could have happened during a more appropriate year than 2011, when I will also be celebrating my 50th anniversary at the Grand Ole Opry."
