Bingham, Kershaw release new CDs
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 – Ryan Bingham has enjoyed critical acclaim, but was not exactly a household name. He still may not be, but he's had a great year since he won an Oscar for The Weary Kind, as best song from the movie "Crazy Heart." Bingham, from New Mexico, released "Junky Star" Tuesday. Like the movie, T Bone Burnett produced the disc.
Sammy Kershaw also released his first disc in three years, "Better Than I Used to Be. (Big Hit Records/MRI). His first disc in three years features a duet with Jamey Johnson on Cover of the Rolling Stone, is a remake of the classic 1972 Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show song
