Rascal Flatts said in a statement, "We are disappointed they have chosen to file, as we had hoped to address these issues privately. However, we hope that this can be resolved amicably."
The suit was filed Monday in Davidson County, Tenn. Chancery Court.
Turner Nichols sought 15 percent "of the defendants' gross entertainment income, excluding publishing, attributable to the efforts of Plaintiff and/or pursuant to agreements entered into during the term of the management agreement ...." Rascal Flatts had a touring agreement negotiated in 2009 that continues into 2013.
