Cash (yes, Johnny Cash), Niemann release new music
Tuesday, March 25, 2014 – More than 10 years after his death, a new Johnny Cash album is out today. "Out Among the Stars" contains 13 previously unreleased songs discovered by Johnny's son, John Carter Cash, in 2012. The songs include two duets with June Carter Cash and one (Hank Snow's "I'm Movin' On") with Waylon Jennings. Ten of the songs were recorded in1981. John Carter Cash also augmented the recorded with additional recordings at Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tenn. Billy Sherrill produced the original music.
Jerrod Niemann is out with "High Noon," which includes everything from rap to more traditional country. Niemann has a hit with the current single "Drink To That All Night." Colt Ford is featured on the closing cut, "She's Fine."
