LBT to join Opry

Monday, October 6, 2014 – Little Big Town is joining the Grand Ole Opry

Reba McEntire invited the quartet - Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook - to join the Opry on Friday night.

McEntire came out to help sing the LBT hit song "Pontoon." She also asked the band, ""I have been asked to ask y'all, Little Big Town, would y'all like to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry?"

LBT will be officially inducted by Vince Gill during an Oct. 17 performance at the pry. Little Big Town has a new album, "Pain Killer, " coming Oct. 24.

Old Crow Medicine Show was the last act inducted into the Opry, which happened last year.
