Eldredge announces new CD
Wednesday, May 10, 2017 – Brett Eldredge will release a self-titled disc on Aug. 4.
"It's kind of crazy to see an album cover with just your name on it," Eldredge said. "I think that shows what I want to say with this album. Maybe it takes a little bit of guts to put out a self-titled album, but if it's 100 percent honestly you, then that should come across through the music. That's my name, and I hope my fans love me for me. Hopefully they feel the connection of these songs and they help them through their everyday lives. Because that's why I make this music."
The album will feature Eldredge's latest single "Somethin' I'm Good At."
Eldredge released a holiday album, "Glow," last year. He is now on the road on Luke Bryan's "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" tour.

And wouldn't you know it, every one of them reminds him of his recent breakup! Such is the case with many relationships – whether good or bad – as love songs can be so doggone relatable. It's almost like attending a Sunday morning sermon where ...
When an artist achieves the kind of commercial success that Brett Eldredge has, there seems to inevitably be an album that is all about the songwriting. Having described his 2017 self-titled album as his "most honest collection of songs," he doubles down on the sincerity factor and bills "Sunday Drive" as his "most deeply personal to date." The distinction is a fine line, but it seems to be in the deliberateness of the preparation.
Eldredge embarked on a voyage of ...
Coming off a string of six consecutive number one hits from his first two albums, "("Bring You Back" and "Illinois"), Brett Eldredge had a choice; take deliberate aim at the chart summit or follow his heart. He opted for the latter and delivers a thread of love and love lost songs. He self-titled his fourth album saying it was his most honest collection of songs to date.
The Illinois native is known for doing death-defying stunts when his songs hit the top of ...
