Eldredge debuts in second
Sunday, August 13, 2017 – Brett Eldredge scored the highest debuting CD of his career as his self-titled disc debuted at number with 45,000 units. He was behind Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN," which moved almost 47,000 units.
Eldredge was the only country CD in the top 10 and will be first on the country chart as well. The charts will be officially released on Tuesday.
"Some of the best memories of my music career have been celebrating big moments, we celebrate and enjoy them all," said Eldredge. "I literally have a bottle of champagne in my hand right now. I'd like to say thank you to everyone who worked so hard on this album, and most importantly I want to thank the fans who have been streaming and buying songs, from the first single to the full album. Cheers everyone and sincerely, thank you."
