Volunteer Jam returns

Thursday, December 7, 2017 – Charlie Daniels announced a new version of the Volunteer Jam for March 2018.

"Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute To Charlie," an all-star concert at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will be held on March 7.

Since its inception in 1974 with a show at the Veterans War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, Charlie Daniels' Volunteer Jam has brought together a variety of bands.

This year's edition features The Charlie Daniels Band, Alison Krauss, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Blackberry Smoke, Bobby Bare, Chris Janson, Chuck Leavell of Allman Brothers fame, Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Justin Moore, The Oak Ridge Boys and Ricky Skaggs with more special guests to be announced.

Storme Warren returns as host.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. eastern.
