Beyonce tops Billboard Hot 100 with "Texas Hold 'Em"
Monday, February 26, 2024 – Beyoncé's country song, "Texas Hold 'Em," is now number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a week after it debuted in second.
The song, of course, has topped the country chart. This is the ninth chart topper for Beyonce, who last hit the top with "Break My Soul" in 2022.
When Beyonce was first on the country chart, she became the first Black woman to top that chart.
Beyonce released "Texas Hold 'Em" on Feb. 11 along with "16 Carriages." The songs were announced in a Verizon commercial that aired during CBS' broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII.
Beyonce will release her new album on March 29. That is the follow-up to her 2022 "Renaissance" LP.
