The Avetts make their Grand Old Opry debut
Thursday, February 28, 2008 – The Avett Brothers played the Ryman in November 2007 on a big night for them - they won two Americana Music Association awards.
But in April, the Avetts will play the Grand Ole Opry for real with their first ever show April 18.
The trio from North Carolina has made a splash through albums released on a small label, Ramseur, and a lot of touring.
