Josh Turner performs pre-debate Opry show
Thursday, October 2, 2008 – While in Nashville for the Presidential debate, Josh Turner will perform at the Ryman Auditorium Sunday night for journalists who are in town for the Presidential debate, which will take place at the Curb Events Center on the Belmont campus Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Tonight, Turner will walk the red carpet at the Nashville movie premiere for "Billy: The Early Years" - the Billy Graham biopic that opens Oct. 10. This marks Turner's acting debut. He plays the role of Graham's musical counterpart George Beverly Shea. Turner performs Almost Persuaded on the original motion picture soundtrack, produced by John Carter Cash, which will be out Oct. 7.
