Friday, December 24, 2010 – Five-decade recordings from Johnny Cash, including previously unreleased tracks, will be out this winter, according to CMT.com

"From Memphis to Hollywood" will be out as a double album on Feb. 22 by Columbia/Legacy. The first disc covers Cash's recordings in Memphis from late 1954 to late 1957, starting with a Memphis radio broadcast hosted by Cash, a dozen demos (11 never released) and 7 outtakes from Sun Records.

The second recording will be of Cash's non-album singles, outtakes and B-sides he recorded for Columbia from 1958 to 1969. During that period, Cash had left Nashville for Los Angeles to seek TV and film work as a songwriter and actor.
