Josh Turner releases new single tomorrow

Monday, December 19, 2011 – Josh Turner is scheduled to release Time Is Love, the debut single from his yet-to-be-titled fifth MCA Nashville album, tomorrow. The song, written by Tom Shapiro, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler, will go for radio adds on Jan. 9.

"This song grabbed me from the first listen because it has such an infectious melody, and lyrically it really tells a message that I have been wanting to say for a long time," he said. "It's not about quality time, but quantity time and taking the time to get to know the person better and develop a relationship with that person."

Turn has been on a roll. All Over Me, the second single from his latest album "Haywire," was chosen as BMI's 2011 Song of the Year and was one of ASCAP's Top Five Most Played Songs of 2011. His previous single, the four-week number one hit Why Don't We Just Dance, was the Most Played Song of the Year for 2010, according to Mediabase.

It's that rare combination of talents that earned Turner a 2007 invitation to the Grand Ole Opry at the ...
CD review - Live Across America Josh Turner's relationship with Cracker Barrel stretches far beyond a love of chicken & dumplings and sweet tea. The country store/restaurant sponsored his 2012 tour and previously has released a live concert recorded at the Ryman Auditorium. Turner's latest release for Cracker Barrel features songs from his latest tour, recorded at 12 different stops along the way. While live releases seldom compare well to studio albums, Turner has a crack band that can match the abilities of the ...
