Thompson Square previews new single

Monday, October 15, 2012 – Thompson Square will give fans a sneak peek of the duo's first single from its upcoming sophomore album.

If I Didn't Have You, a ballad which equally showcases both Keifer and Shawna Thompson's voices. The single impacts country radio on Monday, Oct. 29 with a digital single out the following day. Until then, fans can hear a special 90-second preview of "If I Didn't Have You" by visiting Thompson Square's website

The song "is a story about two people who rely on each other to get through the tough thing we call life," said Keifer. "We all have someone who we can go to for encouragement and this is our story."

Written by the couple alongside Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins, the four also collaborated on Thompson Square's award-winning hit single, I Got You.

Thompson Square will perform a special acoustic StageIt show live from Nashville at 3 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 30. During the "Single Release Show," the duo will chat with fans, take requests and premiere their brand new single as well as perform acoustic versions of the duo's hits including, Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not, I Got You, Glass and more.

Tickets for the StageIt show are available now at: http://smarturl.it/T2StageitOct30 All proceeds from the show will benefit ChildFund International. The top three donors will receive a personally autographed gift from Thompson Square.

Thompson Square will compete for "Duo of the Year" and "New Artist of the Year" 2 nights later at the 46th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville.

Last week, it was announced that Thompson Square will join Luke Bryan on his first headlining tour, the 2013 Dirt Road Diaries Tour, beginning Jan. 17 in Evansville, Ind.

The curse of the sophomore jinx looms large, and many bands have fallen trying to hammer out a follow-up while navigating newfound stardom. Not, however, these two. Thompson Square has put together yet another bouncy set of country ...
CD review - Thompson Square Real-life couple duets carry an honorable tradition in country music. Who could forget the flirtatious sparring of Carter/Cash, the hard-times love of Jones/Wynette or swooning of Hill/McGraw? But rarely does a married couple enter into a musical partnership quite like Keifer and Shawna Thompson, aka Thompson Square. After two respective solo careers failed to catch fire, the Thompsons are now a full-time personal and professional team with a debut record. The lead single and hit, Are You ...
