Barrett wants her "Cowboy Back"
Friday, October 6, 2023 – Gabby Barrett is out today with "Cowboy Back," celebrating stand-up guys with values and heart.
Barrett penned the song with Jon Nite and Jesse Frasure.
"I was inspired by my wonderful husband, a Texan, when I was writing this one," said Barrett. "'Cowboy Back' is all about appreciating the hardworking guys out there with strong values – those who are authentically 'country.'"
Barrett is married to guitarist Cade Foehner, who also is her guitarist.
Barrett was co-producer on "Cowboy Back" with Ross Copperman.
Arriving as the second release off her forthcoming sophomore album, "Cowboy Back" follows Barrett's current Top 30 single, "Glory Days."

Gabby Barrett's sophomore album ''Chapter and Verse" has a lot of material she can draw from as a mother of three, and the importance of family and faith pervades the album. She enlisted some of music city's best songwriting talent in in the form of Ross Copperman and Hillary Lindsey.
The opening track "The "Chapter" is a bouncy number that is indicative of the collection sonically as she realizes life is a series of stages to be navigated. ...
