Barrett releases "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel"

Friday, November 1, 2024 – One week before the release of her first Christmas album, Gabby Barrett today released "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel (featuring The Piano Guys)."

Barrett joins The Piano Guys' pianist Jon Schmidt and cellist Steven Sharp Nelson for a sparsely orchestrated take on the 1,200-year-old song.

Produced by Barrett's frequent collaborator Ross Copperman and recorded by The Piano Guys' Al van der Beek, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" centers on an arrangement created by Nelson and pianist/composer Marshall Stephen McDonald.

The CD "Carols and Candlelight releases Nov. 8. Barrett already released I"ll Be Home For Christmas." The disc also includes "Baby, It's Cold Outside" with her husband Cade Foehner, "Go Tell It On The Mountain" by for KING & COUNTRY featuring Barrett and "I'll Be Home For Christmas."
