Barrett gives birth - it's a girl
Tuesday, January 26, 2021 – Gabby Barrett became a mother, she announced today.
Barrett, who scored a big hit last year with her single "I Hope," announced the birth of her daughter on social media.
"Gotten to spend a very sweet week with our newest addition.. meet our girl Baylah May Foehner." She was born on Monday, Jan. 18, to Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, who also is Barrett's guitarist.
Barrett, 20 married Foehner, a fellow American Idol contestant on Oct. 5, 2019 On Aug. 16, 2020, Barrett announced via her Instagram that she was expecting.

Gabby Barrett's sophomore album ''Chapter and Verse" has a lot of material she can draw from as a mother of three, and the importance of family and faith pervades the album. She enlisted some of music city's best songwriting talent in in the form of Ross Copperman and Hillary Lindsey.
The opening track "The "Chapter" is a bouncy number that is indicative of the collection sonically as she realizes life is a series of stages to be navigated. ...
